Senior Lecturer in Translation Studies at the University of Portsmouth, Commercial Collaborations Lead for the Association of Translation Companies in the UK. Freelance translator and editor of education, NGO and related documents. Former Chair of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting in the UK. Fellow of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting.

2017- Present - Founded the ITI Research Network in 2017 and organised the launch event on June 16th 2018. Responsible for Network development, annual meetings and production of e-book content.

2018 - Present - Joined the editorial board of IFT-FIT journal Babel in 2018

2016 – 2019 - Chair of the Board of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting
