I am an editor at the European Commission, specialising in substantive editing of web content. Prior to that I worked for over two decades as an in-house translator at the Dutch Foreign Ministry, the European Parliament and the Commission, translating legislation, speeches, political reports and the like from seven languages.

I am also the freelance reviews editor at the 'Swedish Book Review', which introduces English-speaking publishers to new books published in Swedish. I review fiction and non-fiction regularly and have translated a number of books from Swedish.

My main source languages are: French, Spanish, German, Dutch and Swedish.
