I am a lecturer in English at the University of La Laguna. I teach undergraduate and postgraduate students mainly in the English Studies degree, the Masters in Secondary Education and the Humanities doctoral programme, though I have also taught in the Design and Art Conservation and Restoration degrees.
I am also an active member of the University of La Laguna's Literary Translation Workshop.
I have worked as an editor and translator with many of my colleagues from a range of academic disciplines but am particularly interested in working with humanities scholars.
I have written a number of textbooks for the teaching of English as a foreign language, especially for the Cambridge ESOL examinations.
