I am an English-Italian translator specialising in creative translation with over 20 years' experience.

Qualifications: Degree in Translation from Trieste University, SSLM (equivalent to a British MA)

Professional membership:
- Qualified Member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting
- Full Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists
- Member of ESIST (European Association for Studies in Screen Translation)

Expertise: transcreation, translation of visual arts materials, subtitling, and translation of children's books.

I also have a long experience as a lecturer (translation theory, audiovisual translation). Nowadays I offer ad-hoc seminars, workshops and webinars, particularly on subtitling and transcreation.
